Right now it sends but very slow. On th 25th With the new carrier file, will it send faster. What's your thoughts.

mine sends rather quickly, 10 seconds tops...gets to 90% stalls like 2 seconds and sends.
i believe it will be the same with the official carrier file

It's fast enough as it is... I even had my friend send a text with his verizon phone at the same time... Mine ended up sending first.

That last 10% lag is nothing.

I have a standard for when I send mms....two bar minimum or it will drain the battery fast.

Mine was incredibly slow when it first started working, and would fail 50% of the time. Starting last night, it seems to go a lot faster and not fail as much.

I'm pretty sure it will send in the background if you hit 'send' and the hit the home button right after. You won't have to watch and verify that it sends for the whole duration and can move along and do whatever else you need to do on the phone. Texts work this way.

This isn't a direct answer to "how long" it will take, but in case some of you are stuck staring at the screen and waiting.:)

Mine take about 3-4 min to send and another 3-4 to recive on another phone

Mine works in the same amount of time as a normal text. At first when I did the hack it was pretty slow, but now it works fine.

A tip if your recipient isn't receiving your MMS is to send a normal text afterward. It will "unclog" the communication stream.
