I did a search and only found posts to get this to work on an iPhone, but I would like to be able to send email from my own domain @blahblahblah.com from the web app for MobileMe as well. Can this be done through an alias? Or can this not be done at all? I can't create aliases yet because I'm only on a trial version, but if I can not send email from my own domain name, I won't bother upgrading to an actual subscription.

Thanks.

Don't think it's available

I've searched myself for the last few months on this one and from what I've found MobileMe does not support hosting of custom domains for email, just websites.

So yes you can forward your emails to the @me.com one but it then just becomes a normal email from @me.com.

I'm hoping they do soon as I'd switch in a heartbeat (Gmail does it). Not sure why they don't especially since it's supposed to be "Exchange for the rest of us".

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5G77 Safari/525.20)

You would need to use a desktop mail client for now. I use Outlook on Windows since MobileMe is IMAP.
