When you send money to someone via Apple Cash in Messages, is there a way to term that the person actually accepted it other than it saying sent?

Reading this support article it would appear the only way to determine if the person has accepted the payment is to check and if ‘Cancel Payment’ isn’t available they’ve accepted.
