I'm hoping someone might know how to send an email from the iPhone with multiple photos attached. Any help would be great for me, and others that don't want to send 5 emails for 5 different shots. If not, here's hoping that will make into the first software update...which I'm fine with, because how great is it that this already amazing devise can only get better!!:)

I never actually needed to send multiple photos in one e-mail but it would be great to have the option.

The real kick in the nuts is that you can't send another photo email while the previous is sending...not sure why.

because the mail program is already sending something and cant send 2 emails at once.

What really gets me is that I have to go to photos and find the picture and then email it. I always instinctively go to Mail and then realize there is no attachment option. Not a huge deal but it seems counter-intuitive to do it that way. And I second that a seperate application for photo emailing would be great; I'd even pay a dollar or two for it.

Another moronic move by apple. As you go along you keep finding the basic things this great phone cant do.

yeah...i guess people will stop buying them now.

No, unless they catch up with the demands, people will start to realize there are better options than iphone out there....

People told me when I was getting my first iphone in 07...HEY it doesn't have copy&paste, no mms... I told them to shut up, who cares, whatever..because I was blinded with the shiny new gadget called iphone...:D

Now 1,5 years and 2 iphones later... yea.. I need mms and I def need COPY&PASTE!... I always say it on this forum. There won't be a third iphone for me unless they add all those functions....and I am sure I am not the only one thinking that way.....

mee too. This is my last iphone, if the next one does not include all the standard feautures.

We'll miss you... have fun with the Storm and all those other "wonderful" phones that have copy/paste...

You mean like...a computer? I think you answered your own question.
Even a Sidekick can do that...

Well, I would love the ability to add an attachment from the email application itself AND ADDING MULTIPLE PHOTOS WOULD BE THE BEST THING EVER! Ugh.

completely agree. i do the same thing. i instinctively head to the mail app first when i want to email a photo to someone only to realize oh yah...no attachment option. completely dumb move by apple.

Sending photos with smart phone to Mac

I was disappointed that I could not directly download photos from my Samsung Jack smart phone. I finally realized that I could e mail my photos to myself. Duh. But I had searched various spots for help and seemed to find no information. That is why I'm here. I was ready to send the phone back because it wasn't compatible with Mac. in fact the Samsung site only says "Not compatible with Mac computers". So, it I hadn't gotten the flashbulb idea, I would still be searching. So, spread the word so that google picks up "smart phone photo download Mac"

I have created a "how to" on sending multiple pics along with some tips like sending full resolution pics from an iPhone. You can view it here http://krashr.com/2009/07/how-to-send-multiple-pictures-in-an-email-on-an-iphone-3-0/

I already knew how to email multiple pictures using copy/paste and that using that method preserves the original resolution. However, what I didn't know was that you could copy/paste more than one at a time. I had figured the only way to do more than one at a time was using share. It just never occurred to me to click on copy, when it's right there. I had been copying/pasting one, putting it an email and going back to copy/paste another, etc. I almost passed over this thread, since I thought it was just passing along old info. Thanks much!
