Sending photos as attachment?

On my iMac, can someone explain to me how to send photos in an email as an attachment, INSTEAD of on the email itself?

Assuming you're using Mac Mail, the photo(s) will be attached to the message that you send.

write your email, drag the pics into the email (using Mail) and hit send. the attacment part happens automatically. if you have a spam/shopping/free email account, try sending one to yourself to confirm. or make a free hotmail/yahoo account, and then try it. sweet apple automation.
