I am trying to send files (pictures for today, but maybe other files later) from my iPad to my Mac.
I would think bluetooth should work, but it does not let me browse the iPad from the mac (of course) and it neither device shows to the other in Airdrop (yes, I selected "open to everyone" in both devices).
Any clue ?
I looked at the pages on Apple Support and found them beyond useless... If things do not work they give no clue as to what to do in order to investigate...

Restarting both devices and turning wifi/bluetooth off/on is the best advice I can give. AirDrop is a terrible piece of technology that only works on a whim.

I confirm Airport was on on both devices when I tried. I will restart them and try again...

By contrast, I can browse the files of my Android phone from my mac, using Bluetooth. How is that ? Macs supporting Android devices better than Mac...
