Am I to understand that most crappy $99 phones out there can attach, send and receive audio files with pictures, but my state of the art iPhone cannot, and has to handle them seperately?

/facepalm

After today your crappy $99 iphone will be able to receive and attach pictures, audio....don't know about video though

If you only had a 3Gs..........

I do. I must have missed the part where I said I had a $99 iPhone.

I have a 3GS and 3G...personally I think my 3GS is "crappy" (due to bugs/screen problems - I exchanged 3 times. All seem to have the same problem, not saying that YOUR 3GS does!) compared to the 3g. I gave the 3GS to my dad, and I use the 3G.

I wish we could send pics with audio, but oh well! Yes, FREE phones from AT&T can do more with messaging than the iPhone, but the iPhone has so much to offer!! Plus...we have MMS now. :)
