has anybody here tried to clean your sensor by yourself? namely with the copperhill method?

Copperhill... is that the one with the methanol swabs?

In all honesty, I try to keep all solvents and crap away from my camera. I relly on a soft lens brush to get most of the dust off. When that doesn't get spots off, I use a microfiber cloth.
Haven't cleaned my sensor yet, but if (and when) I do it, I'll probably try my brush again, and when that fails, I'll try putting some static on it and trying it again (an upright spray from canned air should do that). But, yeah, I like to think I know enough about organic solvents to know I don't want them anywhere near my chamber.

Yes but I just use the Giottos Rocket-Air.
It's the best and it's solvent free. However, there is one solvent-based one I would use which is this one.
