I sent my 16GB White iPhone 3G today for a replacement through Apple due to some problems such as the silent slider and accelerometer issues.. They are replacing it with a new one ... should I expect just another 16GB iPhone 3G or any chance they may send me 3GS? Sorry if this has been brought up before I'm just excited...!

Actually they are handing out next summers iPhones as replacements now... you have to sign a disclosure but it's worth it.

NOT. You will get the same that you sent in.. maybe even the same phone.

Why would you expect anything other than what you sent in?

Probably for the same reason that another posted this same question a few weeks ago (don't even feel like looking for it), the thought just comes into their head and they think if they wish hard enough it'll happen.

OP, sorry to smash your dreams, but you'll just get a 3G. Hopefully, it'll be one your happy with.
