so many tuesday's have gone buy and no update for the macbook pro. Is there a possibility even though the news says nothing about macbook pro and macbook getting merom?

stupified said:I was in CompUsa Tuesday Evening the 5th. I don't know if this means anything, but when I made my way over to the Apple section I noticed the usual 15" Macbook Pro display on the end cap.The 15" Macbook Pro was not there. It was gone except for the display materials. Could this mean that they are ready to roll out the Merom based models? Could it mean a design change?
Has anyone else noticed the missing 15" Macbook Pro?

P.S. - The 17" was still displayed on the shelf with the macbooks
Jedi128 said:All it means is that the people at that CompUSA suck. Someone could have damaged or broken the display model and they were in the process of replacing it. It could also mean a number of other things that are specific to that store only. Don't create assumption at a national level, when your info comes from a local level.
