What date will the unlocked version be available? Will there be sufficient Xs so that there will be no backlog? Since the prognosticators are here let's build the entire scenario.

In the past they usually waited a month or so before releasing the unlocked version.

Last year they didn't even have the phones ready so they pushed stuff back
this year is an S launch so everything is ready except for maybe the LCD model
so I'd guess with possible china tariffs etc they'll be on the early side of the calendar.

Good post showing the invite and the actual date of the past events. I would agree with your predictions as well.
the earliest they've done is the 7th but.....just 2 days earlier is all im asking with pre orders that Friday and launch the following Friday.

the 10th is rosh hosanna -jewish holiday and a Monday. so that leaves the prior Wednesday - the 5th. with a release on the 14th.
