September Launch For 4G iPhone

Is it true that the next iPhone revision will be delayed until September due to the iPad launch?
 
No one here, or any other website, knows when the new iPhone or iPhone OS 4.0 will be annouced or lauched.

History tells us it will be annouced at WWDC in June. However, if we follow the past, iPhone OS 4.0 should have been previewed by now.

Agreed. New iPhones have historically been launched in the June/July timeframe. But, Apple could easily change that.

I called the AT&T store and told them that I was thinking about upgrading from my iPhone 3G 16GB to the iPhone 3GS 16GB and had put it up for auction on eBay. The rep told me to take my phone off the auction right away! That the 4G was probably going to be available sometime this summer. So, my phone is no longer for sale. I'm just going to sit back and see what happens. Hope this helps everyone!
 
There has been a lot of bs front page rumors. And because this isn't even in the front page, then it's like saying the iPad will be released with a 12 megapixel front facing cam next week and comes with six months supply of ramen for free.
 
Looking at Apple's history, I would say a resounding yes.

Apple held back the Touch because they didn't want to cannibalize the 1G iPhone sales.

Same here.

Why would I buy a large screen 3rd generation Touch when a new 4G iPhone is announced with features that blow it away?
 
The rumors I heard were that they were to be sold starting in August and delivered individually to each person by a maniacal electric unicorn.....that eats nothing but ramen noodles.

But thats just a rumor.

Yes, but how much will they cost? I heard they're free this time around, bc Apple owes us because they've bent us over for so long

And before anyone goes crazy thinking I'm attacking the Big A or think that I feel that things are unfair, I'm just kidding :p

I actually just got off the phone with Steve (Jobs). He said yes, Balloonless is correct. September will be the release of the next iPhone.
 
LOL! I would hope that the new one will be released the same time that the 3gs was released last year, but only a few know and their lips are sealed..

If only they trusted us more here! HAHAHA
 
if thats true.. ill be going with either the new windows 7 phone or the evo 4g.. im sick of apple's ******** and how they **** us over with their high exclusive prices.. they make $500 profit on a ****ing $800 ipad.. i mean wtf..taking advantage of the consumer much?

Looks like the Verizon iPhone will be out in September with the AT&T version out in the summer (late June or early-mid July).
