I updated my MacBook to 15.1 today, and a bunch of stuff I use (constantly!) stopped working:
Hitting F5 didn’t start dictation, Rocket behaved like it wasn’t even there, Hyperkey didn’t work, the emoji picker wouldn’t come up when summoned, etc. No idea why.
Then I opened up Keyboard Maestro and got the message
"Secure Input is enabled which means the system thinks you are currently in a password field and will not allow applications to monitor the keyboard” - A clue!
I quit 1Password, turned off any daemons and login items it might run, and restarted. Poof, all the problems are gone. I restarted 1Password and I’m still fine.
Just a tip if you are noticing the update seems to break a bunch of things 😉
