I just updated my iMac 12.2 with Mac OS sequoia and now the TV app is quitting unexpectedly upon opening. Also the photos app has gotten worse over Sonoma I can't even go to the library tab to see the photos in small view.

Does anyone know how to maybe install iPhoto to manage my photo library or run an older version of TV to manage my movies and tv-shows.

I have the same TV issue on a 2013 Mac Pro with Sequoia, so I moved my TV library and drive to a 2012 Mac Mini running Sonoma, running headless.

I created a new library and the TV app opened up fine, but as soon as I dropped all my movies it closed because it tried to display the artwork so it seams to be a graphical problem with how the new TV app renders movie artwork.

Does anyone know an app to manage movies and TV-Shows that will work with home sharing beside the TV app

Does it have something to do with the graphics issues mentioned on this page?

I don’t know but it’s possible that Apple used metal acceleration to view movie artwork in the TV app and the new photos app.
That’s why I am searching for alternatives.
The only alternative that I found to manage my movie library, that works with home sharing is iTunes, that you can download on Mac OS sequoia with retroactive.
