Serial for iMac 24" not found...

I have tried every look up I could locate, but checking the serial I get not found. Do anyone have a link that works?

I want to purchase the following, but as a 3rd party need to make sure it's no stolen. I need to find it's legit.
2021 iMac "M1" 8 CPU/8 GPU/4 Ports 24" 3.2 GHz Apple M1

Serial numbers on Macs; in fact, on all Apple devices, are no longer encoded with model/manufacturer, etc information. That is since sometime in 2021?, that any decoding list for serial numbers does not work. (the serial numbers, from what I have read, are random, so the only way to discover anything through the serial number, would be to contact Apple directly. You CAN, for example, enter your serial number on Apple's support page link, and find out if there is any warranty on that Mac, but no generalized, third-party site listing any information, except for older Macs, from before Apple changed to random serial numbers.

I found the best way to get the correct answer is contact Apple.
