iPhone 14 Pro Max Serial Number Stolen?

So I tried to use the iPhone upgrade program this evening only to find out my phone is no longer enrolled in AppleCare (a requirement). Come to find out I apparently brought my phone in for repair (never did) so my serial number was then scrubbed.

Has anyone heard of this happening?

I have 2FA on my account and have never gotten a ping that someone tried to access my account.

There were attempts from Chinese shops to use a brand new serial number to bypass iCloud lock. Or there was a chance the entry was wrong. It has nothing to do with accessing your account.
