My fiancee recently bought a series 1 as it was only £150 in her club book thing so the cost can be spread out.

She loves it! She really loves it!
Only thing she has against it is when she gets siri to send a text sometimes they make no sense when get to other end. Miss out words or tried to compensate but mostly it is good.

Anyway she bought a PU bumper case for it and glass top protector.
Now these top protectors are not curved so only sit in middle of face.
Last nite we went out to discount store to get some stuff and when we got back she notice the protector had a crack in corner.

So now she looking at a cover that clips over the top and fully covers the glass face.

Is it insured under your contents insurance? Most people on here will recommend against them unless you have a very manual job and likely to knock it against things constantly.

Is she not used to wearing watches? Some people have a habit of banging them a few times when they start wearing them. Your brain then kicks in and you automatically protect your swing a bit better.

she has been wearing a 1960s antique very tiny watch until she got this iwatch.

BIG size difference!
This her first smart watch and she loves it.

Rather a big out lay for her (even if cost is spread out in her club).

Perhaps use a protector until she's comfortable to not have one on? The watches look lots better without one.

The Bolded is questionable. Because I have actually observe quite a few Apple Watches with screen protectors and you can’t visibly even tell it has one *if* it’s applied correctly and _if_ it’s a quality screen protector as well.

I’m talking more about the cases which most of the time make the watch look like a kids toy.

I would highly recommend one.

For less than $1, it protects the glass and case from cracks and dings. It's a completely transparent plastic cover which adds no weight and very little bulk.

Compare it against the $199 out-of-warranty service fee and it's a no-brainer for me.
