As part of a fitness regime, I'd like to walk 5,000 to 10,000 extra steps each day.

For this I'm considering using my old series 1 Watch, which has been in a drawer for a few years. It'd be coupled to my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

It can do that, right? I'd just put it on before I went for a walk each day, measure the steps while walking, and then put it back on charge when I got back home.

Ideally, I'd just monitor steps, distance and time. Is there an app that does JUST those things?

(Note: I found the Watch a little clunky to wear all the time, hence it ending up on a drawer.)

depending on what iOS you’re running in your iPhone. I don’t believe the Apple Watch Series 1 is supported in iOS 16.
