Absolutely nothing. My titanium S10 is going to last me just as long as my previous stainless steel one so at least 4 years.

The only feature I miss is Spatial Audio but that’s software.

It needs a new battery soon so I’d take a new watch if the trade in value would reduce the upgrade cost to however much a battery replacement is. Apple isn’t in the business of handing out freebies so that’s not happening.

I really don’t understand who needs yearly upgrades. Those are incremental and thus small from one generation to the next.

It already has the ability to show stress but it doesn't. I think 3rd party apps can though.

It's just a combination of hrv and heart rate data needed for stress I believe.
I thought so.

Would be nice if Apple came with a new “feature” that provided this particular metric.

Thanks for the response, wishing you well.

I can't even imagine what would make me upgrade from my 9 unless they put microOLED in. Watches are generally good for 4 years. ya gt a new one when the battery becomes intolerable. I'd prob otherwise still be using my series 5 since the 9 isn't that different.

Ultra 2 owner, unless my battery catastrophically declines in the next 3-4 months, I don't think there's any feature that would get me to upgrade. That's usually the whole reason I get a new Apple Watch.

I sold my Ultra and 6mos later got the S10. I intend on trading it in for Ultra 3 if compelling enough, although I do appreciate the weight of S10 again. My watch prior to Ultra was a SS S3, I hadn’t felt the lighter weight for a while. I would like to see a weight reduction if possible, and a smaller sized model for the wife. Blood oxygen still missing stateside baffles me. A new finish is welcome, like aluminum to lower the price (I’d personally be fine with plastic). Otherwise, faster charging of the S10, and longer battery of course.

I have an Ultra 1. The battery is showing degradation so I'll likely upgrade regardless. But satellite connectivity, longer battery life, and new health sensors would really seal the deal.

I upgraded my AWU1 to the AWU2 last year in November when Costco had old stock with the O2 sensor still activated so I’m fine for the next 4 years. The only thing to make me upgrade is a new health sensor such as blood glucose or blood pressure monitoring. I already have hbp, take meds and use a cuff to monitor at home so if it’s just a blood pressure sensor, Apple is going to have come out with more with make me upgrade my Ultra 2.

As per the title.

I’d like a sensor/function that can measure your stress level.

You?
Nothing, I have a S10 in silver titan with the Milanese band and I don’t want another smart watch in my life.
It’s just too expensive for a product, that’ll grow vintage in a few years.
Next watch will be something special from a good manufacturer.

I do the monthly, so more 🤷🏻‍♂️
Thanks for the suggestion. How do you feel it helps you? I love tracking health (including sleep) via the watch, do the additional insights change your behaviour, habits, routines? Have just downloaded the app to give it a try, always interested in what users have to say :)

Improved sleep tracking. If that doesn't ever improve, the Ultra 2 I have right now may be my first and only Apple Watch.

Thought estimated blood glucose would be so interesting that I'd be willing to try it nonetheless.

Blood pressure too. Both of these are things I have low confidence in being reliable, but if someone's going to do it, I'd want to experience it for myself.
