Series 3 charging issue on dock

I have had a series 2 that snaps right onto a dock I have. My new series 3 (LTE) initially shows charging but then goes back to lock screen. It see,s to slide off the dock. It charges fine just connected to the charger (not on a dock). Could the slight change in thickness/weight be causing an issue on slanted charging docks? Has anyone else seen this ?

good to know. The dock makers will have to make adjustment to their designs, I guess.
