I am not sure where to place this one.

I am having trouble viewing my file once it is uploaded to my server space.

I use a Mac powerbook G4 OSX Tiger.

Previous to this I have had no problems.

For about 5-6 months now I have not been able to view any image or Flash files that I have uploaded to my server.

I ran a test becasue my Flash file wasn't working and I sent a low res .jpg with a line of text and one image to the server and I can only see the text.

I now have the image up and working however, the guy who runs my server placed it there for me...he uses a PC.

I have tried to upload from another Mac (Macbook - Leopard) and I am having the same result.

I even had my server guy blow away my account and create a new one.

I think that the issue might be my Mac? I don't believe I have done anything differnt to effect it but it is all I am able to come up with.

www.moonartdesign.com is my site with image the way it should look.

www.moonartdesign.com/~painting is what I uploaded

I have asked a bunch of people for help and noone knows what to do.

Hopefull someone out there has heard of this or gone through this and has a solution.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Who is your host? What program are you using to upload? What Operating System is the host running (Windows, Linux)?

A friend of mine has a server he built and I am running my site off of them.

To upload I am using the terminal window that is on all computers.

I am not sure on the Operating System...but becasue I was able to upload in the past without any trouble I assume Linux.

I will double check on that.

The image doesn't show up because you html points to a file "moon.jpg" in a non-existent relative directory, i.e. http://www.moonartdesign.com/~painting/img/moon.jpg does not exist.

I don't know how this is... I have been uploading the files the same way for about a year and a half...

Keeping my images in a seperate folder and my Flash file in another.

I am not using Flash in this instance...because it wasn't working. I tried to just upload a single image.

I will try again tonight and move the image into the same folder and upload to see if it works.

I would this works.

Thanks for your help.:)

Yup, looks like that img folder is messing it up since when you remove that part of the URL, you can see the image. On another note, not related to the problem, there is a missing end bracket on the link tag on the second URL.
