Server not responding

Hello All,

I am currently 'undergoing' an issue with my server. I have 2 Macs, one of them as the local server (handler/"server-parent"), and the other as a connected Mac to the server. (hope that made sense). The second Mac (the one that is connected to the server but not the local) is connected to the server but for some reason it keeps telling me that the server is not responding (under users & groups). I also tried going on our macOS Server website but it doesn't load in. However, on my first Mac (local server) it works completely fine, the server is connected, etc. I've tried literally everything I can online but cannot seem to figure out the issue. If someone can help me out I would be grateful.

Is there a router blocking ports in-between both Mac ? Are they on the same subnet ? If not, the router probably blocks some ports required for connection.
