Question from a soon to be first time Mac owner. Looking to get a mini with just lion. However I would like to have lion server but don't have a need for the out of box unit that comes with server. Can I upgrade lion to lion server when I get the mini home? Also will that upgrade break the bank or is it the $49.99 that I have seen in the app store.

Thanks

Do you need Mac OSX Server specifically? A server is just a role for a computer.

No I don't 'need' it but I figure for $50 why not. I'd love to learn more about servers in general and working with them and I plan on teaching myself/bothering my IT friends for help and learning C so I can tinker with programming in my spare time.
