I just purchased a 2010 Mac Pro and want to set it up as a server. Can any suggest a good book on the subject? The latest Peachpit book which is what Apple uses for their Certification is based on 5.0. Is this book a good start even though it's not the newest? I'm basically just tinkering to start. Eventually night move my iTunes from my Drobo to it and my wife's Photos library if that's possible. Just want a good reference on the subject.

Thanks

For basic file sharing, which is what it sounds like you're intending to do, there's no need to buy Server. You can just use the basic file sharing that's already built into macOS.
