Hey All...

I just got off of the phone with Apple Iphone Tech support (3:00pm EST) and was told by the tech support that Apple has shut down their servers until they can fix the problem. He told me that they have been down a few hours and unsure when they are going to be up and running - I was told to try later.

Your probably in the same shoes as I am in...upgraded Itunes, than downloaded the 2.0 upgrade - problem is that now that the servers are down, there is no way for the phone to actually activate the 2.0 which is done through your iPhone connection to the Itunes store - unrelated to the Itunes Store icon alone.

You can activate your 2.0 at any computer that you have an account so if your like me, and about to leave the office, you'll be able to activate it at home.

This could have easily been avoided by having the 2.0 upgrade earlier this week...good planning Apple! Your not running this this company out of your parents garage anymore - a trained monkey could have seen this coming - how could you guys have missed this?

If they've just shut off the servers I must have been lucky, I just got through about 5 minutes ago now and now my iPhone is getting restored.

There's no harm to keep on trying if you're phone is bricked right now, you might get lucky.

They must of felt my anger...I too just got through and was able to complete activation. No brick for me!
