Service MBA before applecare is up?

Silly question, but even if the laptop is functioning fine, can I bring it into the genius bar for service? Would like to get it cleaned (dusted up) and make use of the warranty before the 1 year is up.

Because I don't want to shell out more money to extend applecare, and I woud like a system cleaning before it expires?

I don't know exactly how to take apart the laptop to empty out all that dust...

Warranty does not cover things such as dusting up. Just keep using and stop worrying.

Your warranty covers manufacturers defects. If your laptop has no problem, then they'll charge you for their time. Their work isn't free. It's only free if you have a problem that's covered by their warranty.
