General set a custom string hideme8

how do i do this for the lockscreen date?

i tried: 15 sept 14...and that's what i got LOL. how do i set it to READ like that but show the current date?


thanx! hour1 with the ios 8.1 JB and now i know where the rest of the day will go...

tried this on the LS: yy MMM dd

which shows up as: "yy MMM dd". feel like i'm just missing something.

Im using this string. E, MMM d @ h:mm a Make sure you slide the knob right above it to on and click save right below the custom string area. Then respring...

statusbar works, lockscreen doesn't. LS option must not be working (yet)
my statusbar string is: yyMMMdd hh:mm
