Is it possible to set a default time of day for reminders?

Every time I create a new reminder a different time and am/fm value comes up and I always have to change it to 6 am.

What you seem to be describing is the all-day reminders that will display at a specific time each day. For those, there is a default time in the settings.

I don't have a reminders in settings, and under reminders>preferences it currently has 9 am, which does not come up each time.

Can you please be more specific?

Sorry I meant Preferences. In the Reminders app Preferences, there’s a section for All-Day Reminders. What you see displayed as 9:00 AM can be changed. Change that to 6:00 AM.

Then create a new Reminder, tap on the purple i in the circle icon, and select Remind Me On a Day. It will use the time you set in Preferences. Don’t fill in the Time option.

You can also edit existing reminders using the same step.

Thanks, I'll try moving my Home list from 9 to 6 am, but in the past the time and am/pm values would change for each new reminder I set. It is like throwing dice.

I’m not sure I understand what you’re describing. You wouldn’t be setting a time in individual reminders, only the date. If you have previously set a time in a reminder, you would need to remove it for the all-day reminder feature to work.

I am setting a time in each reminder. That time is I want it to pop up on my screen. Otherwise how can I tell it when to remind me first thing in the morning. Am I doing the wrong thing to set a time which overrides the setting in the reminder prefs?

If you set a time in a reminder, it won’t use the All-Day Reminder time you set in Preferences. If you want some reminders to notify you at the same in the morning, don’t set a time in the reminder. It will pull instead from the All-Day Reminder time you set in Preferences.

Thanks! When I first began making reminders I set 'on a day' and got the 'at a time' option and set that as well, being ignorant of the global setting under reminders>pref
