Anyone know of a way to set the iTunes App home screen layouts as the "master" such that App screen layouts in iTunes always overwrite the iPad? Reason I ask is because my young kids play with my iPad each day while I'm at work and when I get back home, I discover that all the App icons have moved around and some are missing. So almost every day I must redo all my App selections and rearrange all the icons on all screens and then resync. I would like any Apps purchased on the iPad to always sync back to iTunes, however. I think this behavior makes the most sense and it would seem that there should be a way to set sync options for the Apps (e.g. "iTunes App home screens overwrite iPad" or vice versa). We should be able to set the sync direction prior to each sync session.

Thanks for any feedback!

i'm not sure if you can do that as i think iTunes just shows what's on the iPad, you could always just put a password on it so that they can't use it, that's what i'd do if they were my kids, or i'd at least just ask them not to move things around on it if they're gonna use it.

Hi Steezy, thanks for your reply. I appreciate your suggestion. The thing is I do want them to use the iPad as there are some great educational apps for even very young kids. I have a 3-year-old and an 8-year-old. The 3-year-old is too young to know not to move things around, unfortunately! :)
