Set Up iPhone Every Time I Connect To My iTunes

Yesterday I tried to update to version 2.02. During the download our network crashed at y office. One everything was back up I plugged my iPhone in and I had to do a full restore.

No big deal.

Now every time I try to connect to sych I am greeted with restore to last synch. I cant just synch new items.

Any ideas???

I had the same problem. I had to set my phone into DFU mode and do another restore and then set up as a new phone. Everything was fine after that.

Did you lose all of your stuff?? Pics, contacts, etc that were on the phone?

I lost tunes, podcasts and videos. just lost the sync with photo folder which was easy to deal with. the last two updates have been the worse Ive ever encountered as far as upgrades go (computer, hardware, etc...)
Im still not getting solid app syncing. App store on iPhone states I have to update 4 apps meanwhile it shows 3 on iTunes Computer. so tempting to delete everything and start from scratch
what a pain!!
btw, as a phone its been fine and same with sms but as far as the 3G stuff, bites big time
