Setting Default View.

Hi all,

I'm new to the Mac having just received my iBook a few weeks ago. One thing that I find annoying is that I can't find a way to default my folder views to the list view (Similar to the detailed view in XP). I have to keep setting that view for every folder I change into.. most annoying.. If I can set the view in XP I'm hoping it can be done in OSX.

I am not aware that you can change a setting to make every window open up in the List view, but it is easier to use Command-2 to make the window switch. Command-1 is Icons, and Command-3 is column view.
