Canada, eh!
I have a slow internet connection at home and I use Google Voice for my primary number. When on Wi-Fi the calls aren't that clear sometimes because of the speed of my Wi-Fi connection. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy phone. There is a setting to select apps that will always use mobile data even when the phone is connected to Wi-Fi. Is there such a setting in the iPhone? I'm asking because I may switch to iPhone.

There’s no such setting on iOS. The only option iOS has is to automatically switch the radio (everything) to cellular if Wi-Fi connection is poor. There’s no way to force a single app to use cellular when connected via Wi-Fi
