iPhone Setting no longer shows cellular ? only show mobile data been renamed ?

hi all,

In process getting a esim, looking at the guide on apples site and says go settings cellular my phone does not have this, is say mobile data and says add data sim.. confused if there something wrong as i will be adding a second cellular plan not data esim.

or has there been update in ios 13. something changes to name from cellular to mobile data ?

The cellular section has been "variable", depending on country/service and the carrier settings installed. Classic example has been being able to turn on/off LTE with some services, others not.

But, the "Add Data Plan" line should be where you can manually enter the new eSIM.

Enter the information manually
If necessary, you can manually enter your plan information. To enter your plan information manually, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap either Cellular or Mobile Data.
3. Tap Add Cellular Plan.
4. Tap Enter Details Manually, at the bottom of your iPhone screen.

hopefully just a UK thing and will see what happens when my ESim QR code arrives. Hopefully works fine
