Hello,
I have a Gmail account and several email addresses set as a redirection to it. In Mac OS X 10.4 Mail I can always select an addresser. How can I do this on the iPhone?
Secondly, I would like to have all emails stored in the Mail app on my MacBook and a copy on the iPhone. Letting the iPhone catch mails, Mail on my MacBook will not catch them because the have been catched already. How to solve this?

Some questions of a iPhone newbie from Germany ;)

Thank you.
Best regards from Germany,
deBernd

Hello deBernd,

You can not select different addressors (yet) for a single mail account on the iphone. You can set it to respond from the account the email was sent to, but you are redirecting all of your mail to one gmail account.

For you second question, just enable "imap" in the web interface for gmail. On the iphone, you will have to delete and re-create your mail account using imap instead of pop. There are many posts on these forums about how to do this, just do a quick search for gmail imap.

Hope this helps.
