In one room I have a Airport Extreme Base Station hooked to two computers and a printer. In my living room I have a TV/Surround Sound hooked up. I have an Aiport express that I am not using. I wanted to be able to pug the AE into the outlet by the tv and hook it up to the stereo using the 3.5mm jack and hook the ethernet cable to the TV. I basically need to just relay the ethernet between the AEBS and AE. Is this a bridge? Im not an expert in networking. I dont want to run any ethernet cables throughout the attic either. I included a diagram to try and illustrate what I need.

Use it in client mode, and have it join your existing wireless network.

Do I just hook the AE directly to the AEBS and then set it up. Once its set up do I just unplug it and plug it into the wall by the tv? will it just find the AEBS? Is there a way to have it in client mode, or something else and still be able to use the ethernet port?

You should be able to do just as you said. Get it configured then plug it in.

As for the ethernet port, I think it still works while in client mode, but I do not have one to test.
