Just upgraded macbook to 120g hard drive and planning how to format disk for use with bootcamp or parallels.

Can I setup 2 partitions -
70g Mac Drive &
11g Data Drive,
then install bootcamp on the Mac Drive, allocating 30g for Windows?

If not, could I do this with parallels?

Just switched, and with my pc always had a separate Data Partition, makes it easier for backing up just that partition.

Thanks
Dave

BootCamp automatically partitions the HD during setup to the size you want. (Before you boot into windows setup)
Parallels doesn't partition the HD, just creates an HD image file in your Library folder.

Boot Camp won't install onto a drive that is already partitioned.

Then I would assume you could just delete windows and the hard drive image as easily as deleting any mac application?

Oh yes... just trash these two files:

(or similar if you've installed XP)

Deleting Windows feels good, any way you do it, but this iss so easy that you can really enjoy it... ;)
