Okay, so I'm starting to set up a home theatre system based around a new MacMini. I'm dumping my cable provider and going strictly OTA as well, and want to be able to record at least one show while watching something else, and will need to be able to access the recorded shows on a TV in a different room (TV there will have a new Apple TV box).

I'm thinking that I will have my antenna hooked into a HomeRun HD system (dual tuner) which will connect to the MacMini(MM). I will have an external drive attached (or multiple in a drive enclosure) connected to the MM as well, partially to store recorded tv shows (which get deleted once watched), and I will also be converting my DVD/BluRay library to digital and storing them on the external as well.

The MM will be connected to my oldish LCD rear project Sony Wega tv (ie. no HDMI connection) using an HDMI-DVI cable, and will run an optical line from the MM to my home theatre system (also oldish w/o HDMI)

I think I have the logistics of that worked out, but please tell me if I'm missing anything.

So, I'm wondering firstly if there is anyting I am missing from the configuration above...

Secondly, what software items would be recommended for
a) watching tv through the MM from my antenna live?
b) recording the tv from my antenna to the external drive?
c) streaming the recorded programs to the other tv that uses Apple TV?
d) copying DVDs and BluRay movies, so i don't need to keep the physical media available, and can just pick the movies from the external HDD?

Any and all help greatly appreciated, as I am pretty much complete new to setting up anything at all like this system... but I just really want to dump my cable for the OTA to save money.

Thanks
