I have a .mac account and an iPhone and cannot get the mail application to send mail using any account other than .mac. Since I forward my work domain email to .mac (for IMAP), I want to be able to send mail from my iPhone and have the return address appear to be my work domain. I manually set up a .mac account and specified my work SMTP as the sending server and STILL the address is .mac.

Is there a way to work around this? I can set up a "send only" account on the iPhone, but then I don't get the full sync I want.

Thanks.

If there is a good answer to this, I'm interested too. (In other words, bump.)

I'm not sure but I thought Apple said it would only reply as a .me (.mac) account. If anyone knows the way around this or knows of an app to allow for replying with the corresponding email that the message was initially sent to... PLEASE inform us all!
