Setting up MobileMe

Hey guys,

I finally got my iPhone activated! But now I'm trying to hook up to MobileMe. When I go to system preferences, i have .Mac instead of MobileMe. I read the website and it said if this happens, follow the on-screen instructions, but I don't get any. What should I do to get the MobileMe icon?

I don't even understand that much. I assume they mean system preferences in iTunes, but I don't have .mac or mobileme in there at all.

edit: I am a bad mac user. Too new to it I think. I found it under the Mac system preferences lol.

Anyways, I also had .mac on there and I clicked it and logged in. Did you try that?

Yeah, I signed in, but it was still .mac

If you are on leopard, download this from apple

instal it and it will replace everything ".Mac" with the new MobileMe

That's what I did, works great.
