Can anyone tell me in words of one syllable how to set up my Web Confidential file? The help files have obviously been written by an engineer.

Why don't software companies get a journalist (me, for instance) to write a simple how-to-start article, and add that to their normal engineer-written "help"?

Web Confidential is a wonderful app that holds all your passwords - powerfully encrypted - in one place.

Yeah, thanks, I know I'm stupid.

I went to File, New, got a file called Untitled 1, set up a passphrase, then didn't know what to do next. Save it? Change the name? Put it somewhere? Where? What? The helpfile isn't helpful.

I shrugged and followed the instructions, set the drop-down menu to email and went to enter my userid; it wouldn't let me.

I closed the file and heaven knows where it went, or if it still exists. Searched for Untitled.1 and found a few files called that, but none seemed to be the right one. So I'm baffled.

Mate, I wasn't saying you're stupid. Don't put words in my mouth.

I just tried it again, and I must say it still seems simple enough. Just "add" some data, the File > Save, it will then as you where to save the file and what to save it as.

Sorry. A little raggy after a couple of weeks moving files and apps from computer to computer, selling the old one, getting used to Panther after MacOS 9.2.2, etc. And looking at my bank account, and chasing my credit card and pulling it out from under the couch by the tail when it runs under there whimpering every time I look at it.

I know this is probably very simple, but what should I call the file? Does it matter?
