I know this isn't new but is it just me or does this seem more functional?

Like before it was trippy but not really functional (meaning some stuff you couldn't even see), now it looks kinda neat and still very usable.

Kind of a cool swtich from the standard color scheme. Sorry if this has been covered.
 
Really, I was able to do something similar to this a while back on my 3G.

Ya... No Accessibility for me...

EDIT: I'm on a 3G... And I thought % battery and Voice Control where stupid 3Gs only additions...

I don't know the first thing about jailbreaking and this phone is fresh from Apple.

Ya got me. It was digitally manipulated with Adobe Photoshop® image-editing software.

(And apperently you need to learn to use the
multiquote_off.gif
button becasue the editing is getting confusing)
 
Yes, I have a 3GS. What I was saying that I could have sworn back when I had a 3G I tried this and it was hardly useable.

It could be that I tried it on my 3GS when I got it a while back and since some OS updates it has become more functional.

Sorry for the confusion.

OP does have a 3Gs...

If anything people are confused as to why the OP says "used to be able to do something similar on 3G." This implies that they had a 3G before, now have a 3Gs, and they know the difference.

This option is not in the 3G...
 
On 3.1 you can set it so this turns on and off from triple tapping the home button. Very useful when you have that, but before it wasn't as some apps wouldn't look right like this, and it was annoying to turn on/off
 
Wow this is pretty cool! I feel like I'm back to jailbroken and able to theme! :D (Easily entertained on a Friday afternoon! LOL) It's a little too freaky when looking at photos, though.
