My settings icon has the red badge suggesting there is an update but when I go into settings it says my software is up to date at 12.0. How can I get the update to 12.3 or at least make the badge go away?

That is the question. Does not appear to have an answer yet tho.

The beta number doesn’t signify a new point version but an updated version of the same 12.0. During this beta phase it will always say 12.0.

As for why you’re getting a badge but no update, it seems to be a bug a few are experiencing.

To confirm you’re on the latest beta, go to Settings>General>About. Version should say 12.0 (16A5318d)

Thanks GreyOS. Yep I've checked my settings and it does say 12.0 (16A5318d) so I'm on the latest beta. Also in case anyone is interested I did an erase and restore and that got rid of the badge on the settings icon. Still experiencing a few other issues so hopefully a new beta will come out soon that might address them. Read something about it maybe coming out late next week?
