Hi,

I'm hoping that someone here knows how to change the default behavior for downloading email attachments. I think there's some size threshold where attachments larger than that size are not downloaded unless you click on them in the body of the email, while smaller attachments are downloaded.
Does anyone know of any way to change this threshold? I'm hoping to not download attachments to save on my data plan. I get alot of work attachments which aren't of any use to me to look at on my phone as they have a lot of formatting that is lost and i'll be close to my computer some time soon. Mostly I just want to be able to read the text of the email, yet I might have to download lots of attachments just to read a few lines of text.

turning off automatic attachment downloads entirely would be fine with me as well. I would just like some control of data usage when downloading emails.

thanks, hope someone has an idea about how this could be done.

I looked at the MobileMail.app info.plist but there wasn't anything there that I could decipher as being relevant to my original question.

I'm hoping someone here with some coding skills might actually be able figure something out.
