After unlocking two iPhones with iLiberty+ last night, some of the phone settings will not save.

When I go in to turn off keyboard clicks, it says that it worked fine, but when I hit the home button, and go back into the settings they are turned back on. (and there is sound when using the keyboard)

Also when I add a city in the weather app, it brings up the city just fine, but will not save it, the next time I go into the app it is back to just California and New York.

I also cannot get Summerboard to work. I installed summerboard then installed the summerboard fix from tweaks, and it still will not work.

This is the same for both phones, both on 1.1.4, one 8GB, and one 16GB.

I unlocked my own phone using Ziphone, and I have not had any of these problems.

FIX: chown -R mobile:mobile /var/mobile/Library/Preferences

I would suggest restoring and using ZiPhone instead. . .

But Ziphone will downgrade the bootloader.

Please someone help, I really do not want to try restoring and re-unlocking, it took about 3 hours to do both phones yesterday because of all the problems. Plus they are not my phones I was just helping a friend with unlocking.

I used Liberty+ last night as well, and i had the same issue. I restored my iPhone, and just used ZiPhone 3.0.

But i have a 4GB iPhone, so the 3.9 bootloader won't be an issue to me.

Try iPlus?

Or just wait till Pwnage comes out.

get ssh up and running.

you need to install BSD systems and openssh on your iphone, and install WINSCP on your computer. there are plenty tutorials if you dont know how.

then, find the payload folder. not sure where it is, but just replace it with that file it gives you to download.

Thanks, I have used SSH multiple times, on the iLiberty forums they are telling me that I need to run the command while SSHed into my phone. I think that I am going to try that if I can figure out where to put in the command.

It doesn't help that I am at work, and cannot do these things right now.
