I have an older MacBook Air that I just reset and plan on letting my son use for his school assignments. He's young, so I want it locked down with screen time and such. I know how to set all that up since I uses it on his other device. My question is, what is the best way to do the initial setup on the MacBook? Do I create a user account on the computer to manage all of those settings, and then create an account for him that will be locked down with the Screen Time settings? I want to make sure I do it right the first time, and I couldn't find anything specific to what I'm looking for on Apple's website. He will be the only one using the computer, since we all have our own. Thanks!

As long as you're using the same icloud account, he should be good to go. Same settings will apply. /// Ok, so not automatic, but there is a toggle switch for "sharing screen time settings across devices."
