I am currently running macOS 12.4 but starting last week a handful of my apps that I have been using for years opened at startup and require setup from scratch.

Right now the affected apps (that I know about are)
Downie 4
Yoink
Pi-Bar
Transloader

None of the previous settings saved. Another item that does not seem to save on re-boot is Time Machine, I have to open the app every launch and check "Show in Menu Bar"

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing all of the apps no to avail. My guess is something happened in the Library>Application Support folder to these apps that is messing up their configuration but I just wanted to check here before I started going around deleting configuration files without having a better idea of what is going on.

This might help:

After uninstalling, remove the relevant app folders within the two mentioned above (or move them to another place as a backup). Then reinstall and hope for the best.

Be sure to uninstall using AppCleaner or similar. That type of app does a pretty good job of getting rid of all the associated files and folders that the target application adds to your account.
