When I try and open a game I have just installed, I get the following message and log.
I am guessing this means it isn't compatible with my graphics card (AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB)?
Is there a work around to try and make it work on this iMac? As much as I would love to upgrade this 2011 machine, the funds aren't there to do so
TIA

The 6770M doesn't support Metal.
I'm not sure why it refers back to Shader Model 3.0. Microsoft's Shader Model 3.0 was first supported in DirectX 9.0c-- which is positively ancient.
However, the
user manual says
- 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
- Intel Core i3-2100T @ 2.5GHz or AMD FX-4100 @3.6 GHz
- Nvidia Geforce GTX 650, AMD Radeon HD 7770 graphics card or better (min. 2 GB VRAM, DX11 support)
- 4GBRAM
- 20 GB free hard drive space
- Soundcard
- DVD-ROM Drive (only for retail version)
So even if you did the bootcamp thing, you wouldn't be able to run it.
The previous version, Farming Simulator 2017 requires
- OS: Windows 7/8/10
- PROCESSOR: AMD/Intel 2.0 GHz dual-core
- RAM MEMORY: 2 GB
- GRAPHICS CARD: 1 GB, DirectX 11, AMD Radeon HD 6770/NVIDIA
GeForce GTS 450
- HARD DISK SPACE: 6 GB
- DVD-ROM: 2X DRIV
The desktop version of the 6770 is quite a bit more powerful than the 6770M.
so it appears that you're out of luck.
