Shadow under spotlight?

Under the spotlight icon, and the apple icon, and the adium icon in the menu bar, there is a bit of a 'shadow' below them. It doesn't show up in a screenshot. I was wondering if anyone else had this showing up.

It's not there when looking down at the screen from above.

do you mean the bottom half of the icon? or underneath the top bar?

underneath the menu bar where the spotlight icon is, there's a little black shadow type spot depending on the angle that you look at the screen.

Yeah, I'm not sure I understand. Since it won't show up in a screen shot, could we get a photo?
