Hi h9826790, I thought that initially too, but I have tried other monitors and the same happens, shadowing on the screen :-(
A little back history; I bought my Mac Pro secondhand and when it arrived the outer casing was not sitting square on the floor, when I inspected it, it was damaged and I fear the courier had either dropped it or thrown it into the van/lorry, I think that it could be the problem from which my shadowing comes from. Other than that the machine works great
If the GPU cause this issue, then this shadow should also captured in the picture.
If the capture is fine, then it means the GPU can render the image correctly. But something wrong during display it. In this case, can be the card, can be the port, can be the cable, can be the monitor.
Anyway, for this kind of question, it will be so much easier for us to help if you can provide pictures.
I have had look and the colour seems to be ok, I calibrated the monitor and no change as such but will keep digging. I also had the page like yours above and it was a bit of a minefield as to knowing what to look for and see any changes happening :-(
Hi h9826790, I've managed to solve the shadowing! yay! I swapped monitors and I have no shadows that I can see yay!
Thank you for your help in tracing the problem and being so helpful
