When I do this I get a box that says "nothing to undo". What feature is this? I am not aware of what's it's to do. Anyone?

Let's say you type something, erase it, and wish you hadn't done that. That is what the undo feature does.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A400 Safari/528.16)

It should also allow you to undo whatever you just typed as well.

I use this feature a lot when I am texting. Comes in handy now and again.

That's what I thought as well. They should give you can option to disable it though.

Sorry, I was thinking of the "shake to shuffle" toggle. This doesn't appear to be disable-able yet.

Not sure why you want to disable it anyway. It's not like it happens without you actively trying to use it. As far as "shake to shuffle" goes, I find that most times I have to really shake it to get that to work, so I would guess the undo would be the same. In other words, it's not going to undo inadvertently (unlike the complaints about going to landscape mode, which need a toggle to disable, but we don't have that).

not true: sometimes while i'm typing, i'll shrug my shoulders, itch my nose, or something else, and it will bring up the "undo" option. and i have never had an issue with "shake to shuffle" not working on the first try. a quick flick of the wrist and it shuffles. and as far as landscape mode, how are you accidentally switching it it? do you just turn your phone sideways without realizing it? doesn't make much sense, IMO

YMMV. I have to really shake mine to shuffle. Sometimes, more than once. "Inadvertently" might have been the wrong word. The point I was making is that people want a toggle so that it doesn't switch while they move their phone, usually while laying down. It's not an issue for me.

I think I've only activated undo once or twice by accident, but I activated shake to shuffle what seemed like far more often until I disabled it. As for portrait/landscape, that was a terrible nuisance until I jailbroke and got the SBSettings toggle.

I want to disable it because I never use it and it pops up a lot when I get a text message (I use a jb app called irealquicksms).

I think there's something weird with your phone that makes it less sensitive.

I have the 'nothing to undo' message appear on accident quite often. I disabled the music shuffle option because it would kick in every other song or so.
